Adam M. Daner

Experience and Practice
Mr. Daner has regularly tried and arbitrated matters involving property, wills and trusts, and personal injury claims over the past thirty years. He is experienced in all facets of litigation, from pre-filing claims procedures through judgment collection and appellate practice. He brings substantial courtroom experience to his business and estate planning practice, allowing him to anticipate and avoid drafting pitfalls. Clients benefit from his personal attention, as every case is handled directly by Mr. Daner rather than passed off to a junior attorney.
Professional Background
1994 – 1999
Early Practice
Mr. Daner practiced in Southern California for several years. From 1994 to 1999, he was associated with the firm of Lincoln, Gustafson & Cercos in San Diego, where he was integrally involved in representing many of the largest commercial property owners and residential developers in construction, property, and personal injury litigation. He was approved defense and coverage counsel for numerous insurance companies and litigated several will contests and probate matters.
During this time, Mr. Daner represented substantial corporations including Trizec Hahn Properties, The William Lyon Company, Fieldstone Communities, E.F. Brady Company, and Dayton Hudson. He successfully defended personal injury and wrongful death claims, including slip and fall, automobile, construction, assault and battery/false imprisonment, and electrocution cases. He also handled all types of construction claims for developers, general contractors, engineering professionals, material suppliers, and subcontractors.
In 1999, Mr. Daner joined the Irvine office of Watt, Tieder, Hoffar & Fitzgerald, one of the largest national construction law firms in the United States. There, he represented Surety Companies including Safeco, NAICO, St. Paul, and ICW, defending bond and bad faith claims arising in Nevada at the Bellagio and Venetian Resorts.
2000 – Present
Founding His Own Firm
In 2000, Mr. Daner relocated to San Luis Obispo, California, and joined Sinsheimer, Schiebelhut & Baggett, where he defended California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo in both construction and employment matters. He represented home builders, property owners, radio stations, vineyards, and manufacturing companies in numerous complex cases.
In 2004, Mr. Daner founded his own firm to focus on business, insurance, real property, construction, and contractual matters. His goal has always been to provide cost-effective and responsive legal services centered on each client’s best interests. All client communications are returned promptly, and billings are prepared with clear and concise descriptions of the actual work performed. Overhead is kept low, with efficiency always in mind.
Now licensed in both California and Idaho, Mr. Daner continues to offer the same high level of personal service to clients in both states.
Community and Personal Involvement
Mr. Daner has served on many nonprofit boards, including the Zoological Society of the Charles Paddock Zoo, Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce, Builder’s Exchange, and the Moose Lodge. He also coached high school football for nearly twenty years. In addition, he conducts numerous legal seminars on estate planning and other areas of law.
Mr. Daner and his wife enjoy riding their motorcycle in their free time and spending time with their bulldogs, now that their five children are grown.
